Strategic Plan

This Strategic Plan has been developed with the Tailem Bend & Meningie Communities. A strategic framework was developed that allows both health services to build their strategic & business plans for 2005-2008. The plan is an incorporation of the Mallee Coorong Area plan which looks to combine each service’s operational objectives in a "communities of interest" focused service delivery plan.

INTRODUCTION

Video Conferencing is part of Networking the Nation and is accessible from the Tailem Bend District Hospital. Video Conferencing is a technological innovation process that is available for consultation, assessment, liaison and education in support of patients/health professionals/client/management/community and service groups. Video Conferencing supports and provides health care and education to communities in rural and remote areas to develop, promote and co-ordinate the use of two way, interactive visual telecommunications.

Instructions for the use of the Video Conferencing facilities are available upon request and are posted on the equipment. You will need to setup equipment from instructions, administration staff are available upon request to help if you are experiencing technical difficulties.
