About the Friends of the Tailem Bend District Hospital

The Friends of the Hospital are a group of twelve ladies who meet monthly in the Day Care Room and have been fundraising for the T.B.D.H since our inception in 1989. During these years we have contributed over $130,000.00 in commodities for our Aged Care Facility, Palliative Care, food preparation and laundry requirements. Recently we assisted with the upgrade of the Locum Doctors Flat and the surrounds of the Hospital House on East Terrace.

Our income is derived from catering, in memory monies, raffles and donations. We are very fortunate to have the community’s support, which enables us to maintain our status within the Hospital.
